From the tough and rugged G-SHOCK, the brand that has continually pushed the limits of timekeeping toughness since 1983, comes a new slim G-STEEL model with an innovative design made possible by a thin module and carbon core guard structure.  The thin module of the GST-B500 is made possible by downsized components and high-density mounting technology, which reduce the thickness of the watch without sacrificing Bluetooth function, solar power capabilities, and other functionality. A carbon core guard structure makes this the thinnest model in the G-STEEL series (as of March 2022) while maintaining a high degree of impact resistance. In addition, the solidly sophisticated designs of these models go well with a variety of different fashions and styles. The bezel has been given different finishes, which creates an elegant effect and changes the appearance of the texture of the metal depending on the viewing angle. This new lineup consists of three silver metal models with dials of different designs 
and two models with black IP and gold IP finishes. The designs of these models have been created to match a wide range of tastes and styles. These new G-STEEL series models combine metal and resin to create a collection of tough and fashionable timepieces.
